Dr. Ratan Das Gupta, a top-notch nephrologist from ShaheedSuhrawardy Medical College is now available in Square Hospital as a part time Consultant of Nephrology.
Graduated from Sylhet M A G Osmani Medical College, he started his career under Ministry of Health. He worked as an Assistant Professor, Medicine in Dhaka Medical College for 3 years and then engaged in practicing nephrology as an Assistant Professor, Nephrology in the same institute. His commitment to deliver high-quality care, treating and managing nephrology patient conditions and exemplary activities accommodated him to be promoted as Associate Professor, Nephrology in 2013. At present he holds the position of Head of the Department of Nephrology at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College & Hospital. He obtained fellowship in Medicine from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) and achieved MD in Nephrology.
