About: Dr. Parvin Akhter Banu is one of the most Senior Oncologists in the country. She has More than 40 years of experience in Radiation & Clinical Oncology. She completed her graduation MBBS from Sher-e-Bangla Medical College, Barisal. After that, she did Board Certified in Radiation Oncology (which is equivalent to FCPS) from Shiraz Medical University, Iran in 1985.
Dr. Parvin Akhter Banu had a very vast & glorious career her whole life. In her early life, she worked at Ahvaz Medical University, Iran as an Asst. Professor. In 1994, she became associated with Delta Hospital LTD as a Senior Consultant, in the Oncology Unit since its inception. She is one of the pioneers in starting Radiotherapy in the private sector of Bangladesh.
Dr. Parvin Akhter Banu is experienced in the Treatment and Evaluation of all types of cancers except hematological malignancies. She has very long experience in treating patients using Chemotherapy, Targeted therapies, Radiotherapy, Immunotherapy & Palliative care management.
