| ABOUT DOCTOR Dr. Md. Ashek Mahmud Ferdous. He is a renowned Colorectal, Laparoscopic Colorectal, and Laser Colorectal (Colon, Anal and Anal Surgery) surgeon. He was born on December 1st, 1971 in the village of Paschim Chandimandap in Muktagachha Upazila of Mymensingh district. He passed SSC from Madhupur Shaheed Smriti High School in 1997 and SSC from Notre Dame College, Dhaka in 1999. Later Sir Salimullah was admitted to the Medical College and migrated to Mymensingh Medical College. From here he passed the MBBS examination in 2005. He joined the government service in 2006 and completed his FCPS degree in surgery for the first time in 2015 and was awarded a Fellowship of the International Society of Cloprotology in 2016. He completed the highest degree MS (Masters of Surgery) in Colorectal Surgery from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in 2016. He has participated in various conferences on Colorectal Surgery in many countries including India, Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore and has received specialized training. He is a life member of the Bangladesh Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons and the International Society of Coloproctology (India). He is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Colorectal Surgery) at Mymensingh Medical College. |
