Dr. Ali Asgar Chowdhury is a highly distinguished Clinical Oncologist in Bangladesh with over two decades of clinical experience. He completed his FCPS in Radiotherapy/Oncology in July 2011 and has been dedicated to cancer care since 2006. Combining a strong foundation in internal medicine, transfusion medicine, and general practice, Dr. Chowdhury adopts a compassionate, patient-centered approach to comprehensive cancer treatment.
Dr. Chowdhury has actively expanded his expertise through international certifications, including Medical Oncology (ASCO University, 2019), Comprehensive Oncology Assessment (ASCO, 2021), advanced training in Brachytherapy in India, and a Fellowship in Cancer Genetic Testing and Genetic Counseling. He is an active member of leading global oncology organizations, including ESMO, ASCO, ESTRO, SITC, ESGO, and IASLC. Beyond clinical practice and research, he is dedicated to cancer awareness and aims to establish precision oncology care and cancer risk assessment clinics for families in Bangladesh.
